Brain & Body

This half day workshop is designed for those of you who are exercise beginners or fitness enthusiasts, who would like to learn more about what Psychology and neuroscience are teaching us about the factors that affect how well our brain functions, and in particular how exercise can contribute to mental and emotional health and well-being.

This course is suitable for all, no matter what your educational experience and is delivered in a hands-on, practical, fun way. Participation, group learning and discussion is encouraged! Wear loose comfy clothing and bring a mat.

The workshop will include a yoga/pilates-based stretch and body conditioning workout and some partner and group activities, to help you learn how being active enhances brain power.
